الأساس هندسة صريحة: الوحدة المركّبة = الوحدة الفعليّة + عرق المونة، والعدد = 1 ÷ (الطول المركّب × الارتفاع المركّب). الافتراضيّ 390×190 مم بعرق 10 مم فيعطي المقاس الاسميّ 400×200 مم و12.5 بلوكة/م². عرق المونة ليس ثابتًا: مواصفات مشاريع تشترط ألّا يقلّ عن 20 مم، وأخرى تحصره بين 10 و20 مم — فبعرق 20 مم يصير العدد 11.61 لا 12.5. والمرجع الحاكم «المواصفات العامة لتنفيذ المباني» الصادرة من الوزارة والمُحال إليها في البند ٦-٣-ج من الاشتراطات غير منشور نشرًا عامًّا — فاعتمد مواصفة مشروعك ومقاس مورّدك. (مقاسا الرياض الشائعان 400×200×200 و400×200×150 مم — دراسة جامعة الملك سعود. ولم أتحقّق من رقم مواصفة ساسو ولا من نصّ SBC 305.)Pure geometry: assembled unit = actual unit + mortar joint, count = 1 ÷ (assembled length × assembled height). Default 390×190 mm with a 10 mm joint gives the 400×200 mm nominal module and 12.5 blocks/m². The joint is not a constant: some project specs require no less than 20 mm, others bound it to 10–20 mm — at 20 mm the count becomes 11.61, not 12.5. The governing reference, the Ministry's General Specifications for Building Construction (cited in clause 6-3-c of the Requirements), is not publicly published — so use your project spec and your supplier's size.
